Here at WhiteHat we have an incredible mission - to create a diverse group of future leaders. It’s an ambitious goal but we’ve got a brilliant team working together to create an outstanding alternative to university so we thought it was about time we introduced you to the amazing coaches we have delivering our apprenticeship programmes.

Our coaches come from a range of backgrounds, we have former Teach Firsters (quite a few!), agency marketers, full stack developers, management consultants, and L&D professionals who’ve spent time at a range of global corporates and cool startups. None of our coaches were former assessors. Our approach is not to simply rework what has been done before in apprenticeships, but to build something radically different, that delights and develops our apprentices.

Chichi Eruchalu

I love digital marketing and ran my own consulting company for 5 years working with startups and SMEs, winning runner up in the Freelancer of the year awards. Prior to that I spent 7 years working for HSBC covering a range of roles including Commercial Bank Manager, Graduate Assessor and Digital Project Manager. I believe that coaching is powerful and I am passionate about teaching and developing the next generation.

What I like about working at WhiteHat

I love the autonomy and level of ownership that comes with working in a fast growing start up. You get to strategise, co-create and contribute on a daily basis and your work is valued and appreciated. The WhiteHat values drive everything that we do and the leadership are clear on where they are going and are transparent in sharing the journey to get there.

No day is ever the same and working with young people is truly inspiring and enriching.

Fun fact

I am a huge creative (I love Wordpress, Indesign and Photoshop) and have self published my first book which you can find on Amazon!

Laura Bennett

I am originally from Staffordshire with a very obvious Midlands / Northern accent. I have been in the digital marketing industry for over 10 years, and have worked within both in-house marketing teams and agencies. Previously to this role, I was the digital marketing manager for 3 years at financial news company based in the city. I also worked as a teaching assistant on the General Assembly Digital Marketing course which got me hooked on wanting to enter into the world of training or education, as the experience was so rewarding.

What I like about working at WhiteHat

I love working at WhiteHat as there is such a sense of team work and drive to make a difference to young people's careers.

I also love the variety of the days and the never ending opportunities to grow and develop our apprentices, our WhiteHat staff and the company as a whole.

To work with such amazing people and be a part of a great vision and mission is extremely rewarding.

Fun fact

I couldn’t just choose one, so here’s 3: firstly, I am a huge fan of cats and currently 3 tattoos relating to them. More will appear! Secondly; I do a pretty good Donald Duck impression; and finally, I had restored an Edwardian House by the ripe age of 24.
